As the final suggestion, let me introduce to the Oscar Winner as the Best Film of the Year, Parasite!

The real beauty of Parasite is, anyone can enjoy it anytime. Sure, it’s deep and thought-provoking enough to win the Oscar, but also it’s so much entertaining on the surface.

Director Bong Joon-Ho is famous for blending multiple genres in his movies, Parasite is the latest entry into that bucket. The parasite is a drama, it’s a comedy. it’s a thriller and also it’s a horror film. The story is as follows, A poor family, the ‘Kims’, con their way into becoming the servants of a rich family, the ‘Parks’. But their easy life will be turned upside down when an unexpected event happens.

While it’s sheer entertainment on the surface, it’s cleverly crafted bottom layers are never to be forgotten. Parasite’s scope of storytelling uncovers several strong themes, including a broad look at the society of South Korea. Discovering the depth, feeling the beauty of this is up to you, But I can guarantee you, if this is not a ‘Masterpiece’, then I don’t know what is.
